Looks like 96th is back to normal. Didn't see any construction or blocked lanes, bus picked us up normal spot and normal route.

Interesting article:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-07-14/why-delta-is-better-at-taking-your-money

The punch line for us: excluding fuel, American's profit margin on its regional operation is 26%. Delta: 39%.

Mesa's steaming turd of a TA just passed. Why is this in the compass thread? Well because we compete with them for 175 flying... ridiculous. 62.5% deadhead pay... lowering the bar for all the other ALPA carriers.
Thankfully even paying way more we can't attract people, so hopefully they'll have to voluntarily start paying more.

For some reason flying the Mighty E175 is enough for many. If people would take the airplane out of the equation and only go to the ones with the best financial package. Companies like Mesa would be forced to step up. I didn't mention bases because I think there's overlap between some regionals

Ya but the 62.5% dh pay is up from the old 50% they used to have so that's a win for them

A win for the company. Can't believe they got over half the pilot group to vote yes for that turd.

Again, it's a win for the pilots. More dh pay than before and I'm assuming more pay on general and prob better language. The old contract and the previous TA that was voted down was garbage. Good for the Mesa pilots if they finally got a lil more squeezed out of JO!

Agree to disagree, Mesa pilots had the perfect opportunity and a good amount of leverage. They then used that to get pennies when they should have recieved dollars. Hurts everyone.

Not really sure how you figure this. The pilot group had nothing to do with getting pennies or dollars. They have never had leverage over then, which is why I left there. JO runs that place to profit him and only him. Ask any current or ex Mesa guy, leverage on behalf of the pilots doesn't exist there.

That I don't understand. If people would just quit going to there things would change
