The only thing I didn't like was the older instructors had major attitudes. If I miss a callout or forget how to do something in the box, how about telling me the reference and correct action, instead of getting red-face upset while telling me I need to improve my morals and study habits as a person. All the younger instructors were cool as could be, but the 50+ year olds were detached from reality.

On another note, can anyone confirm that we have access to purchase things through Delta Perks site on DeltaNet? We have access to the perks pages, but never actually tried to buy anything and cant find anything official.

I'm not trying to **** all over the training there. I appreciate any feedback. I have been working my ass off learning this ****. I have the flows down, I have the memory items down.....hell there is only 8. I have a descent grasp of the systems, I have been flying jet aircraft with glass and fms for a long long time.....I have been pouring my heart and soul into this......and yes the mention of a 70% failure rate freaked me out.
Dude, are you joking? Our AQP is a freaking cakewalk, especially if you’re prior 121. I slept through 85% and went home every weekend. Even if you’re not prior 121, if you put in half an ounce of effort you’ll do fine. Super proud of you for memorizing all 8 items!! Sorry to be blunt man but if you’re going to talk like this about training here this early on, especially having flown jet/glass aircraft before, you should probably not be in the cockpit period. Do all of us a favor and shut it, apply yourself, and provide feedback once you’re done with training. If you have some legitimate questions then I think I speak for this entire forum that we are all happy to help, but whining like a schoolgirl at this stage, not cool. You are already making every one of us in the left seat hope we don’t ever get paired with you........just sayin.

Why the failures.....****ty training? Lack of experience? That's ridiculous. I've heard that it's a fire hose, fend for yourself deal. This is sad......there is not one major who would treat its new hires like this.....maybe Spirit. I have spoken with many guys and gals at the majors who said Compass training was nothing more than a wash out machine.......go to Compass, and never get hired any where else.

Sorry, I’m just getting really fed up reading this guys babble, brand new to CP and throwing punches because he’s having a hard time in training? I get it, the training can be hard for some, it makes a huge difference depending on background, etc. But this guys seems to be mad at the company because he can’t figure this stuff out and that attitude ticks me off. Maybe I’m reading into him wrong, but the comments like how no major would treat people this way, etc. What way? CP training will work with you to help you succeed unless you are a conceded brat that is too good to try, at least when I went through, maybe the training department has gone way downhill since, I suppose that is a possibility.
