We're talking lag at work..
Reinfection case was actually a person that donated convalescent antibodies several times. The patient assumed they were immune. That's all i can say till the case review is published. There are several now being reviewed. https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile..../idUSKBN22J0HR |
cargo,
I think your confusion concerning the lag is a result of you you trying to interpret a bunch of raw data without the requisite expertise. You could just listen to the plain English explanations from numerous epidemiologist. It’s like if you handed a print out of the the ATIS to passengers instead of just saying it’s going to be warm and sunny with light winds. hey just my opinion. More power to ya (insert 20 hyperlinks here of epidemiologists saying the lag is 4-6 weeks from rising cases to hospitalizations/deaths) |

if you are incapable of following science articles that is YOUR problem, not mine. I’m not the guy who claimed there was a three week lag when current studies show five to ten days.
Hopefully they’re wrong, like the passenger I showed an ATIS to to confirm the temp. He said “dude, you said it’s warm, it says here that’s it’s only 30 degrees, stupid pilot” :p |

That’s not my claim, I’m just regurgitating what the appropriate experts are claiming
:p So are you saying the CDC’s experts are NOT experts, or that I’m less entitled than you to post the expert regurgitations I find? Is this some sort of ‘cancel culture’ thing because the scientists I quote have an opinion different than yours? Because that’s not typically the way science works... |
I’m not trying to cancel anyone. Stating you’re not an expert is factual. Unless you are an expert in which case I apologize.

Well, we KNOW that only Americans are stupid enough to turn mask wearing into a culture war, right? I mean, they just dragged the driver off a bus and beat him to death for asking four passengers to put on their masks....troglodyte Trump supporters!

cargo,
To address the data...the purpose of that data you posted most recently was to understand demographics. It does not give contextual information about reporting lags. the time when something happens, and when it is reported are two separate things. that data set was from the first feb, March, april if you look at all the charts you post, during those months, there a significant lag between when cases and deaths are reported. |
