They’re not. In fact it was Pelosi that’s been trying to get the deal done. Probably for ulterior motives, but still, when Trump got sick they tried to get something done quickly while the meds were still kicking in. If they don’t come up with something next few days there probably won’t be one till after the new year.

Pelosi has been pretty clear. The airline bailout is in the bill that the house passed and she’s not going to do standalone bills. Imagine if your union came out and said they company won’t agree to a contract because of an impasse, and the company is willing to enact one section of the CBA for now, but can’t be used later for negotiations...
You do realize that the bill pelosi passed is full of ******* that has nothing to do with providing relief to a country that could use it. Items such as:
- Barring voter ID requirements,
- Forcing states to count absentee ballots that arrive as late as 10 days after Election Day, and
- Imposing same-day voter registration everywhere (only 21 states currently allow it
- Only $5 billion (2%) of $225 billion earmarked for school districts would go to making health safety improvements. “The rest is a teachers union protection plan.”
- $417 billion to state and local governments, with no strings.
- $600 billion-plus allocated to cities, states and school districts would be consumed plugging budget holes.
- $5 billion for community development block grants is labeled by the bill as “flexible resources.”

Welcome to the world of being a political football. But keep telling yourself that there isn’t something deeply broken in how this country operates. You can acknowledge that something is broken and still be patriotic. In fact being honest about a country’s shortcomings is more patriotic then denying they exist. The Marxist thing to do would be to deny the existence of a problem in the first place, just let that sink in.

Just like the previous bill that was passed in March, there are earmarks. Just like the same earmarks that Republicans are trying to pass with their provision that prevents employers from being held accountable for unsafe COVID conditions.
Which facts? Alternative facts or real facts? Aren't we all entitled to our own fact opinions?

I'm trying to find where Karl Marx wrote that denying existences of problems in his manifesto. Can you point me to that? Alternative facts are fine as well.
