cite a single instance where this has happened.

i can cite two instances off the top of my head where republican snowflakes tossed or adulterated ballots. lay off the fox news, it'll make you less delusional.

Facts and evidence, which should be the basis of any argument:

Reading comprehension, much? I never said anything about people being for or against voter ID. All I said is that Republicans are exploiting the issue because they know that the more people that vote, the worse their chances are.

The fact is Republicans are exploiting the voter ID issue to disenfranchise voters because they know they can't win a fair election. Why else would the governor of Texas mandate that Harris County, with a population of 4.7 million, only be allowed one ballot drop box? This pattern is repeated across the nation.

Voter fraud is a nonissue when you look at the empirical, objective facts

In Texas I vote a week to 10 days early, in person, at a polling place. Show photo ID. Put card they make into the voting machine. It registers electronically. Prints backup on the card. I place it in the box, in case they need to recount due to suspected computer hacking. Computer tallying is fast.

Never had to wait more than 2 minutes.

But what if you show a fake photo ID? I can make an ID that says I’m a Texas resident and my name is TransWorld. You see the slippery slope that’s been created? If you can’t beat the system, you say it’s rigged.

Right actually that proved my point almost all of those are on the north side of town. Which means voters that are for more likely to support our current government make up. If you live near the airport it would a very long day and most likely expensive proposition to go get an ID. The ones in southern Atlanta and southern Fulton county didn’t close by accident.

I am trying to help a guy get a license to drive he lives on the north side of Atlanta and the only dmv that can do his test is in Lagrange.

I was trying to help with this part of your post. I have to think one of those on the map could help him and might be closer than LaGrange. That is an interactive map so if you slide down toward the south part of Atlanta the centers down there will pop up. Would you like me to do that for you? Within a five mile radius of the airport it shows at least four or five DMV locations. Greenbriar, Morrow, etc. Like I said I am not familiar with Atlanta but five minutes on Google and I found a bazillion DMV locations all over it. I wish we had them that close where I live. I have to go about 22 miles. In Atlanta I would pass ten locations going that far. People always have a reason for why they don't do things. Some reasons are better than others.

No they have started doing work by appointments only. So you can really only go to where they assign you. It’s another problem presented by Covid

Well that sounds like a pandemic restriction instead of one driven by racism or partisanship. I stopped counting over twenty but it appears that the Atlanta area is adequately served by DMV locations, the map looks like a map of McDonalds locations. I do wish they were that close where I live but its not worth living in Atlanta, too many people. I had to walk 4.2 miles to pick up my truck from the shop last month because (the irony) their loaner was in the shop. I agree with you that the walk is much preferable to paying for UBER or a cab. I am a pilot so cheapness runs deep.

This may help too. Could be too late for this election but for the future this could help those in and around Atlanta that are not adequately served by DMV locations. And bonus, it turns out that you don't need a drivers' license after all you can do the paper application and mail it in.

Welcome to the State of Georgia’s Online Voter Registration System To use the Online Voter Registration System you must have a valid driver’s license or identification card issued by GA Department of Driver Services (DDS) with signature on file with DDS. If you do not have a valid driver’s license or identification card, the link below will allow you to manually submit a paper registration.

You may use this system to (1) Register to vote in Georgia or (2) change your name and/or address on your current registration record.

Registration Instructions:
  1. Fill in all of the required fields on the application which are identified with a leading asterisk ' * '
  2. You are not officially registered to vote until this application is approved.
  3. You should receive an acknowledgment within two to four weeks after submitting or mailing your registration. Please contact your local county registration office if you have not received any information from them by then.
WARNING: Any person who registers to vote knowing that such person does not possess the qualifications required by law, who registers under any name other than such person's own name, or who knowingly gives false information in registering shall be guilty of a felony. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-561.
