Can Boeing even redesign the 737, they would have to spend billions to basically develop an A320, oops...

Default No longer an innovator....

Boeing is already talking about possibly reopening the 767 pax production line - wow, big surprise!!!!

Hey Boeing, please bring back the 727-100 with 3 smaller, modified GTF engines and a 737 overhead panel for Southwest next!!!!

Have you read this recently? Boeing has made a soft launch of the 797 in June. Hybrid cross section with twin aisle 767 sized fuselage and narrowbody sized section for the cargo bay. 787 technology. 200-250 seats over 5000nm. It seems as if it would be a nice aircraft. On the other hand Airbus offers the 321lr neo. 200-220 seats over 4000nm. Which probably covers most of the existing 757 routes?
I wonder which one Delta would get.
A less capable 321lr neo offering Commonality with existing Airbus fleet.
Or a brand new more expensive boeing design offering a bigger route potential.

Interesting. My guess, both with one replacing the 757 and other replacing 763.

The Tritanic ship #'s and N #'s were 700's, not 100's...

N110DL was a 767-200...

So, I'm guessing the CSeries will be pulled from the Nov AE as the program slides 18-24 months. I
wonder what will happen with all the project pilots/instructors they have already trained? That's a fair number to be playing 90 day sim warrior in the Annex.

I'm going to miss the recruiting tables in the lounges. Cool pics but needed to hand out little maple leaf-shaped maple sugar candies and I would have been in. Hope Puddy stays on top of the plane to keep us informed when it resurfaces again!
