I'm not so sure about that, one of the advantages of a GTF Engine is how quiet they are. Now the airflow at .80 Mach is another story, then again I fly the 737 so anything else will be a bigly improvement.

+1 on a voice activated intercom. Personally even though the 321 is quiet, nothing is quieter than noise canceling. I like when I can speak slightly above a whisper and be heard 5/5 by the other pilot..and visa versa. Also better clarity to understand ATC vs the overhead speaker.
