Santa Claus was patterned after Saint Nicholas, a very real early Christian Bishop, who inherited wealth from his parents. He then, anonymously, threw bags of gold coins into open windows of families with poor children.

One story is of a poor family with three daughters. The father did not have enough money to provide dowry to marry off his daughters. Saint Nicholas secretly, during the night, left bags of gold coins at the home so the daughters could be married.

He was benevolent, and gave gifts secretly, under cover of night. Sound familiar?

There was a time several years ago that we would play car commercials at full volume after the safety video. Earplugs were the only way out. Lasted about 6 months.

Painful. Like mouse-in-a-lab painful.

Not sure what a "non-believer" in Christmas even means.....
Seeing how we're not supposed to discuss religion around these parts, you'll have to make do with me being a non-believer of any religion. But I'll wish you a Merry Christmas anyway since that is the spirit of our discussion.

And then the cousin was left with 2/3 of a bag of gold coins while the attorney had the other third. 😁

Just stick with Happy Festivus and everyone except Seinfeld fans can equally be disgusted or confused.

ENOUGH! If it isn't unexpected or inconveniencing, say a little something and then shut your pie hole.
This. Especially with IFE.

Srsly doods. No one cares about "light winds out of the west" or anything about visibility or partly cloudy skies unless its highly likely you'll have to divert.
