I do keep mandatory displacements in at all times.
Thanks, makes sense.

How about 700 and 319 go to the 319/320 rate and 320 bumps up to the 800 rate? I’m a 73 guy. I’d be fo that. We only have 10 700s so it seems like it would be a step up for more people.

And 321 NEO needs to get 757 pay.

If we continue with the strategy of tying pay to efficiency the A321 should come in above the 757. The problem is the 757 got boosted up to 7ER rates in the 01 contract. Still you can make a case that management has publically put out the A321 was a domestic 767 replacement.

If bidding into a new category (in this case, LAX320B), is any existing seat lock added to the two year seat lock for the new equipment?

New categories are completely unfrozen and seniority based only.

Nope...you will most likely get a 24 month lock from date of award unless you're eligible for a shorter training footprint.

Thanks. Forgot to ask if it’s different for the initial hire seat lock? If someone had about a year left on that lock, a new category would still just incur two years?

And anyone know where this is spelled out in the PWA? I looked and couldn’t find it.
