Also remember comfort plus is a separate requested upgrade that you have to put in for.
I don't remember exactly but 1st class when you request the upgrade is automatic. Comfort plus you must check the Box that you'll take a middle seat also . Something like that but I know it's another step.

As a non rev once you board that airplane you give up all rights for a upgrade and since you are already cleared and probably on the airplane, the lower priority non rev will get those seats. Now if you and a S3C were cleared at the same time, that is not right. Fill out the survey and they will go and look to see when everyone was actually cleared.
Non-Reving 101...

In the almost 10 years I’ve held pass privileges on Delta, I’ve never sat in economy and I’m not mainline.

Question. I have a deadhead back to base at the end of my trip. Can i deviate from scheduled DH, spend an extra week on vacation and then use that space positive DH for my flight home? In otherwords, can i delay my DH several days? Are there any rules about this?

No-any deviation from last leg deadhead must occur either prior to or on the same day as your scheduled deadhead. See FOM chapter 13 for all the specifics.

Don't we wish...
However, (off topic) if you're a commuter and you need to double commute home, and you know the second leg is full and the JS is already booked, you can non-rev or JS the first leg and DDH the second. It just takes a call to or chat with Crew Accommodations.

What??? FOM says there must be a seat available. The only caveat is that if Icrew won’t let you book a positive space seat but Travelnet show availability, you can call for assistance.

That's correct. But what I meant by "full" is there's some DL employee listed S2 with a hire date of 1939 or so and there are 3 seats available and you're the 6th on the list.

But what you said is correct. I should have been more clear.

Is an FCR appropriate or call the pass bureau, union, CPO?
It's come a long way from the dark days before Travelnet when you were completely at the mercy of the gate agent and their mood. At least now you can SEE that you were denied a seat your seniority and the rules state should have been granted.

I really don't have any advice as to who will give you anything more than lip service but I would lose the word "complain" from your message. I would state something more along the lines of "I wish to bring this violation of our company policy to your attention..." "Complain" is a gate agent word attached to anyone who disagrees with them and makes you sound frivolous from the start. It seems like you have a legit issue and ought approach it as such. Good luck and let us know what haps.

Two days ago, I was positive space with requests for any EC seat. Once again, S 3 given window EC, I was in Main 1. Several EC seats open. I believe it's faster for them to do it that way and hope/don't care what happens. This is SOP at my city. Happens too often.

I've written it up in the past.

Was the S3 given EC before you boarded, and after you checked in?
