I dropped my phone searching to see if the results were out while standing in the cockpit. I picked it up and then hit my head on the overhead panel on the way back up. I promise you my angst at that moment was warranted in regards to this AE.

I’m with you on the 320 and with all the orders, we are on an elevator right now, in terms of relative seniority but variety of flying also. The 321 is flying a lot of the 757 flights I used to do. Movement on the 757 is only happening by virtue of retirement numbers. I wouldn’t mind going back to the ER, I miss flying that 757 a lot, but I hate to give up a good thing. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the bottom 7ER A dip pretty low on this bid in NYC.
Agreed. Super-junior 7ERA = Displacement fodder. That's why I didn't bid it.

Your phone works in the cockpit? Who do you use, I need to switch!

Han, Han, Han.....that's not true at all. Even people with 3 years at Delta and four strips are are entitled to their angst.

Excellent job of deciphering Sailings' history lesson!

I would counter that using SF's logic (or more accurately usual lack thereof), your average joe working 60 a week who can't afford a $1k emergency has a case for angst. Then a girl in Somalia who is worried she's about to be murdered if she doesn't voluntarily submit to being circumcised by the local warlord probably has a case that average joe American has nothing to worry about. It's a stupid path to travel and any grandiose statements about who can and should feel what, lack any empathy or perspective.

Only a net gain in excess of 200 Captains positions. Oh the horror!

No ...real angst is when you win a million dollar lottery and you're piszed because the week before it was a 5 million dollar jackpot....and somehow your neighbor can't empathize. Oh those ruddy neighbors, most shallow minded, what?

Those were pretty good numbers. Imagine this forum if tomorrow the company announced that’s what they expect going forward! I have posted about all the angst that happens on every bid. It doesn’t get any better than this in the airline industry. Enjoy the ride! It won’t last forever.
"Move UP to FO?"
Not sure what you mean....I'll have to consult some of the ancient history scrolls to learn more 🤣🤣🤣
