One out of 3 pilots at Delta wants to negotiate for a pension and half of them want full restoration... Yet you want to take retirement from someone who, more than likely, makes 1/3 or less of what you do. Classy. As long as you get yours I suppose.

I heard it was closer to 1 out of 10.
Closer, like 1 out of 100.

Did you get this first hand info from polling yourself over multiple days? I would put it at 1:50, and 1:60... maybe if that..

It's extremely rare for me to encounter someone who wants a pension back.

Learning from past mistakes, and all.

Restoration is a very loosey goosey term that changes depending on who you ask.

Yes, 7 years is significant but who is talking about raising the age 7 years to 72?

Age 65 is already here so unless you are Marty McFly we are talking a 2 year increment which I believe will be totally insignificant for all the reasons I listed above.

OBTW - I am 100% against raising the age but it is a non-issue in my opinion.

It was my understanding he was talking about 60-67.

And you're right, this is just wishful thinking by a handful which doesn't have any foundation in reality.

How many deadzoners do you fly with? Kinda hard when all you fly with is the people hired in the last 5 years.

I have this minor suspicion that perhaps the reason so many guys go at 63 has to do with our excellent disability.
