It’s not cool to disparage someone’s background. They are here and obviously jumped through the same hoops, that were required at the time, everyone else did.
While there is obviously a pecking order (not a chicken reference) of pilots, once hired, our past is a footnote - some may be more interesting than others.
I have been extremely impressed by everyone hired in the last five years that I have flown with.
