Nope, I had to purchase a ZED ticket to get to work on a flight that was wide open. I also spoke to the CA after we arrived to the destination, and he stated that with 2 passengers waiting for a wheel chair on the aircraft and passengers in the jet bridge waiting for their pink tags. He was in the galley/ main cabin door area when he said it to me.

If you were anything but cordial to a crew that was giving you a free ride to work you deserved to be left behind. That’s no way to approach a captain when you are requesting a jumpseat no matter what your personal feelings are towards their actions. Not a wise decision. Your senseless remarks to not make you a martyr. I would have given you the boot as well. No one wants that kind of hostility in their cockpit.

Clearly, he said he spoke to the captain after the flight. Also, Wmu used to work at 9E, and is a very nice guy, I highly doubt he was the one in the wrong.

Some mainline pilots think they’re better than regional pilots, and it shows. Some people think that we should take whatever crumbs we get from the mainline table and be happy about it.

I was very cordial to them. And I didn't get a free ride to work as I had to purchase a ZED ticket to ride, which cost money. Skywest Airlines is denying the JS to 5 airline groups and stating that their airman certificate can have actions taken against it for accepting a pilot from these 5 pilot groups on their aircraft. In addition to that, if someone isn't cordial with me, I would be a professional and not tell someone to shove it up their ass in front of our customers.

And this conversation happened after the flight at the destination airport. I was very nice and polite requesting the JS to work. As soon as he found out who I worked for, he got a smirk on his face and was happy to deny it.

Why did the agent just not clear you if there were seats in the back?

So let me get this straight. You work for Delta now. You asked to ride a Skywest jumpseat and were denied. At the end of the flight you had the encounter with the SkyWest Captain.

I just want to make sure of the sequence if I have a SkyWest JSer........That is BS.
