There have been about 2 dozen GS per day as well on the 717 Captain side as well. April will be the best month ever for some with the double 23k recovery pay as well as multiple Green Slips on top of it. Most of the GS are one leg out, layover and deadhead back. Nice and easy 21 hours of pay for an hour of flying.

I sat short call at one point, waiting to be used, with 2 other people (overlapping, no less). They had 2 trips in NYC and I couldn't even call crew scheduling (got hung up on 3 times while listening to the sweet hold music) to try and grab them. I would need to be released from SC early to take them (ended at 2200, report was 0600) and it was an easy fix. The end result: I didn't get either trip, ended SC with a credit, went home, and they gave -both- trips to Green Slips less than 12 hours out.

I called crew scheduling last night as my MiCrew/iCrew were showing out sick, when I had called in well while I was on vacation. She said they are only getting a call maybe every 40 minutes at most now. It's slow there.
