This. If something is bad I'd rather know. Uncertainty and the unknown is worse when bad news is looming and you know what's coming.

I feel compelled to jump on the hysteria bandwagon. This is all just positioning us for the eventual bankruptcy and subsequent merger with American. We’ve seen it before, right? Same day, same court filing only the emerge as merger partners. My evidence is Parker’s lead foot acceleration into the unknown and our doom and gloom long term bleak forecasts. The Ed and Doug backroom deal is already done and was likely completed during the LATAM “surprise.” You heard it here first.

That’s what happened last time I think. It didn’t affect me so I don’t know for sure but wasn’t there some end of the month timing dispute? I seem to recall the union making a stink and then backing down on the published effective date.
