You believe back in Sep of 2019 that Delta and American hatched a plan to merge via Delta snatching LATEM from American for a few billion dollars with a follow plot to create a worldwide pandemic to allow both airlines to file chapter 11 and then get justice department approval to merge? I feel compelled to jump on the hysteria bandwagon. This is all just positioning us for the eventual bankruptcy and subsequent merger with American. We’ve seen it before, right? Same day, same court filing only the emerge as merger partners. My evidence is Parker’s lead foot acceleration into the unknown and our doom and gloom long term bleak forecasts. The Ed and Doug backroom deal is already done and was likely completed during the LATAM “surprise.” You heard it here first.
Still not wanting a merger with AA or anyone.
