NYC to Resume SC Rsv effective 1 July
#13
Exactly!! I start my block Jul 9 (already converted in July from ATL to NYC with a double commute now). Oh well, it’ll be an adventure. Lemons... meet lemonade. I obviously had it above other choices, so you’ll hear no complaints from me.

I ditched the pad already. I can drive if they call me. Out sick at the moment, might be through the end of the month.

FWIW, scheduling has been VERY reasonable spreading the pain around for short call in SLC. I’ve only sat two for the month; looks like the rest of the category has been given the same.
Doesn’t help the quarantine issues, however.

It’s been 9 hours for quite a while. Pre-Covid, even.
Short call used to pretty much guarantee a trip assignment. Now...not so much. Minimal flying available, and the white slippers suck up all they can (as they should).

Yes...they are NOT ALLOWED to give you more than 2 SC assignments in everyone in your days of availability has had 2. With the number of guys on reserve, I imagine it is rare to get more than 2 in a month.

They're not doing it out of the kindness of their hearts... just following the contract!
