Common sense on the forum. Who would have thought!

Indeed. I’m pretty sure there’s not a daily “How can we screw the pilots today” management meeting. Regardless of how we got here, we’re in a dung heap as an industry.

I disagree. ALPA needs to do nothing just like the company did to us in 2019.

Agreed. It’s more like, “How can we gain more efficiencies and cost savings from the pilots.” Then they business-like begin to screw you. I don’t get emotional about it but I absolutely believe they want to screw us (by our viewpoint).

We didn't screw over anyone. We have a contract.

You mean when we proposed a 3 billion dollar increase in pilot costs?

when did APLA and Delta exchange openers? How soon after that did COVID happen? Our contract became amendable on 1/1/2020 and by the end of February the economy was in free fall. Not gonna fault the company on that one. Had it been 1,2, or 3 years that might have merit but the contract had just become amendable when all this started.

Not to mention our opening proposal was a huge dollar amount, it was going to take some time to negotiate an agreement based on what ALPA has put out from our opener

your plan is to do nothing because we can. The loser of playing the game of “pick up our toys and go home” is jr delta pilots, not management
