The only thing I can find is the proposal to limit tax deferral for 401k. And since we are talking just about funds we have in liquidity, it wouldn't apply to this discussion.

And on that note, with them potentially (although nothing really has been proposed) changing fundamentally how 401ks work, this will not be a quick change

Are you sure about that? I don't recall any FM1 Captains at Express. Might have been one or two FM2 Captains but they were all made whole for their "furlough" by the arbitrator.

With the unimaginable printing of Trillions of dollars that seems to almost occur every other month now, there will be a large money grab coming soon. 401k land represents a large treasure chest of money for those on a certain side of the isle.

But that 3% will be a good thing to have because they will be few and far between once the inflation starts.
If inflation is coming, all the more reason not to pay your mortgage early since you can wait and pay it back with dollars that are worth less
