Paul Michael’s Pizza in Kew Gardens has great pizza and also a full Italian food menu/sit down seating. They have a lot of crew members who hang out there and will even do a crew discount!

Favorite pizza by JFK is New Park for sure. Ate there as a kid all the time.

I’m in the same boat as the OP. First time commuter as well. What’s the best way to look into that ozone or Kew places? Just google it?

Not sure your exact situation but I always used Airbnb. Since I'm on the 220 we (used to) have a good mix of ewr, lga, and jfk trips. Being able to stay 2 min from all the airports instead of tied down to one area is great. Usually can find a room for under $50 most nights

I tried posting a link for a crash pad website but apparently APC doesn’t like that. So just google pilot crash pads and you’ll see it

Crashpad Oasis is a nightly place next to Jamaica hospital, $65 a night cash. There's one in Howard Beach built to be a crashpad run by a flight attendant. PM me if you want details

Yes. There are ones I used regularly in eer that were $36/night. Most have self check-in with a door code so you never even interact with anyone.

I'm not sure though the situation post covid, I haven't flown since March so not sure how many places are still available.
