Navy won't let you off orders over 60 days without a 214 in hand.
For us moving from resrve to active pay systems and back is much more difficult than AF and ANG.
I have my opinion on the whole ECRC (its a Navy command, Google them) and NIACT debacle nevermind the fact I'm on my 15th deployment as a terminal O4, while there are plenty of active Army Majors who have screened for LTC on their 2nd or 3rd, and one of those was Germany or Korea. But the Navy augments the Army because they are over deployed.

Getting the call for many folks is the biggest hurdle to landing the job. Had a buddy have his interview canceled just 3 days before. All after studying hard for 5 weeks and shelling out $$ to the consulting companies.

Navy on an Army Staff.
Air Force won't let us roam Al Udeid without a 3-7 day trip through T town. even though we are coming from a "clean" location on a "clean" flight from Ali.
I literally only need to turn in my rifle and pistol with the Navy det there.
I then bypass Germany because I'm unvaccinated, but since the Navy considers the AMC terminal/process to he a "hot zone" plus they make us ride a bus back to Norfolk its another 14 day "rom" so I can freely move around the area to outprocess.
Mind you I live there. Nope. Barracks or locked in a hotel 14 days.
The root off all this is basically covid policy that is basically "we can't force you to get the vaccine but we can make it suck real bad if you don't"

I spent three weeks there in Q Town earlier.
There are certain AF Shoe Clerk Captains that I wouldn't **** on if they were on fire.
