Advice: Don’t try to game the system. As others have stated, sometimes a category which has gone super senior will go junior. Just put what you want. Just remember to bid what you want, want what you bid.

I know it made it a few pages, but all new hire positions have to have come from an AE. They can't offer them unless current pilots had an opportunity to bid, so either posted or secondary vacancies.

Any tips for the online assessment and interview prep sites assuming I don’t Jack up the assessment? TIA.

Check out the thread titled “DL hiring: new process” for those specific questions. Otherwise, keep your cool during the assessment as the 6 challenging games are followed by the personality portion. Be honest and answer the questions for yourself and not what you think they want to hear. I used Emerald Coast Interview prep and was completely prepared for everything. Check out that thread tho.

Would anyone mind giving an idea of what the fleet schedules are like on the A320 vs 73? Or the pros and cons vs the two?

They’re pretty close to being equally bad (long duty days comprised of 2-4 legs to short overnights). On the 320, at least, you can endure your fatiguing trip in relative comfort.
