Not sure how the seniority fell in the last class, but looking a few posts up there were 10 NYC 73 slots grabbed in that class. Don’t know what went to the plug, but you’d probably have a decent shot getting it. Folks who want NYC area first and foremost will probably bid ER above 73. There are a good number of NYC 73 slots left open after the last AE that must fill, so what I’m saying is there’s a chance.

Top tip: If your only 73 option is in another base, you are almost guaranteed to be able to bid a base change to NYC in the first AE (currently 4-5 annually. They are forever promising the do more/smaller AE’s, but never seem to actually do it.) It is possible to get lucky with timing, and convert bases before you finish training. I did on the 88 years ago, but I got out of NYC.
Good luck.

the 220 has been junior to the 73 since it showed up on property in NYC…why would it all of a sudden become more senior to the 737?
