I am almost 100% certain they will not allow contract flying before you are done with OE

*excluding military flying.
Thanks for the info!

Many thanks !
Buddy of mine finished indoc a week ago and starts sims October 18th. Kind of related but I’m almost 6 weeks from ER upgrade checkride with no OE in sight. I know a new hire who finished ER checkride early July and no OE either. YMMV.

Dumb question but the sims for 7ER are also in ATL?

Boeing training center is in Miami. When needed, they are leased by Delta. Other carriers use this facility as well.
I trained in those same sims at one point in a prior life.

also not sure if they migrated to the fancy new Miami sim (it was being spun up in the winter), but the old clapped out one there is WILD. Every time you pull up the hydraulics go bananas and the yoke bucks all over the place. It also totally crashes once or twice per sim session. If someone failed their MV for it they would have a totally legit complaint.

We don’t use Boeing for 757/767 training right now. It’s another company

Thanks for the info regarding 7ER sims!

When should I expect to find about sim location ?

Relocating from far away and trying to stay close to family during those training periods ….
