The 765 (at least from ATL) advantages were:
No flights more than 9hr
No Africa
Mostly vacation destinations, not just AMS, CDG, LHR all month
No domestic to cover for, so if you did bid reserve in 4 day blocks, basically unusable by day 2.
Will admit to bunk envy though....

If you want ATL I would avoid the 7ER unless your choice is 7ER or 717. I’m an LAX 7ER guy who avoids ATL flying like the plague. And it’s not going to get any better, sadly.

It’s the worst flying out of all the 7ER flying. Very senior on the top so you’ll never touch the good stuff and you’ll do 3-4 leg days as norm down to Florida or other short routes like CHS, BNA, RIC, ORF etc…Maybe you’ll get an ATL-HNL every now and then but I’ve been at DL for 2.5 years and people at my seniority barely can touch that stuff.

But way to make it way bud. Feeling better? I find it funnier you can’t read the room and turned this into a seniority **** match

Wasn’t complaining. I’m just saying it goes very senior but you might get something dropped down every once in a while. I mean they have LHR and multiple CDG trips in open time right now, both rare still.

So yes, if not complaining at least a poor job answering the question.
My original post wasn't even an attack, just observing how fast things really change where holding Hawaii is a reference point for bidding an aircraft as a new hire.

Relatively speaking I'm not all that much more senior than you. You just did a horrible job at stating what the airplane entails. A new hire isn't any more likely to hold Honolulu or Europe in a 737 or 320. When you make statements like that it sounds like you would say the same about any airplane you were on. What you can hold against what the airplane does is a lot less important than what you can hold against what other new hires on different aircraft can hold. Unless you're trying to save them from never being happy with another airplane again once they've flown the 757-200
