In my case I had a 24 month seat lock until April 2023 on the 7ER. They waived my seatlock and awarded me 765 in Feb 2022, which would normally give me only a 9 month lock to Nov. 2022.

So when should my lock expire? April '23 or Nov. '22? Right now it's listed at Feb. 2024 which is totally wrong.

There is no stipulation of adding on to the existing freeze for FOs where they waive locks, only entry pilots or new captains that break their 24 month lock.

From what I think it's that my original 7ER lock should be wiped out since they waived it and I should have a 9 month lock that starts from Feb 2022 and ends in November 2022
I believe your original seat lock of 24 months is still in effect. They waived it for this award. They can’t however tack the new 9 month lock onto your 24 months. Your new lock should be whichever of the two is later but they are not cumulative like a FO to CA upgrade.

When's the last time MSP went to new hires? Hoping for that. If I don't get it in class, how long till I could hold it and transfer?

Thanks!

If you don't get it the earliest you could would be after the next AE and after waiting to convert. AE happen about once a quarter and it could be up to a year to convert after that. Usually not though, generally it's a few months after the award

a few bids ago it was going weekly for almost a month. You can pretty much hold any base you want domestic fleets after one AE bid

I see DTW slots are getting fewer and far between. Will the next AE open up more DTW 320/737 slots for new hires? Any advantage to bidding 717 over 320/737 in DTW?

Seniority. Dudes I went to training with on the 717 are at something like 60% in DTW. If they were on the 73 or 320 they would be 85% or so.
