It’s rough, but gets you ballpark. I’m seeing a handful of 2060 and later retirement dates each week, we are hiring very young.
Pretty much everyone is hiring young these days, at least outside of big cargo.

Fair point. I guess I should clarify, the average newhire age across the majors is far lower than it used to be.

I'm finding it hard to stay when UAL has unfilled CA positions, and I could be in a WB A position within a year. Is there any hope for WB flying at Delta?
What? We literally just had the 350 go to new hires last month and you can upgrade in 1 bid at Delta which is quicker than United that has restrictions (hence why they have unbid CA vacancies)?

This post reeks of “I have not done my homework”. If you want United go to United and sit global and airport reserve for 5 years, lol. But panicking that Delta is at 15k pilots now and will taper hiring from 3000 a year to 15-1800 a year and making up fake statistics like waiting a decade to hold WB B almost makes me feel like this is a troll post.

What a dumb question

Curious what the new avg age is for Delta NHs. Low 30s? Seeing a lot of 25 and such. Wonder if it’s lower

Last class was 33.
Most classes hover around 34.
