Is there anywhere to look for, or anyone who can provide a bit of a synopsis of what sorts of flying to expect from each base/fleet? I know that could be a bit too vague to answer, but trying to get a handle on things before bidding soon!

Log in to DeltaNet, and under Company > Flight Operations > Monthly Bid Awards you can filter BES and see what the most junior (and senior, and everyone in between) pilots are doing in any category. Keep in mind that can change.

Like Ready said, you can see the bids packages once you have access, but networks changes the flying on a whim. Don't expect things to stay the same - additionally, with the growth of the A321 fleets, lots of cities that used to have lots of one aircraft seem to be switching to another. So don't bid an airplane because it tends to layover in your hometown is what I'm saying..

It did say this in the January 2023 AE

We continue to evaluate the SLC A330 base, which we will not open before this summer.

All of them (DTW/NYC/MSP/ATL/SEA)

ATL appears to be the least of them. But they all have 6 day trips go to LHR/AMS/CDG, then SLC, then back out to Europe, back to base. Opening SLC won’t change a whole ton because SLC will see same 6 day trips with all 4 of those layovers as well. Probably some LAX/PDX as well and even ICN/HND stuff from SEA/LAX I’m sure just being the other west coast base. They did hint longer term that ICN service is a plan from SLC. This was post Asiana/KA merger and NYC also likely to see a ICN route.

That is due to performance issues with taking off towards the mountains in STT when the winds are too strong to take off west.
