Sea is one of our more junior bases. 👍

Edit to add there have been several drops recently with no 220 options.
220 is well staffed. You can get paid to not work on reserve. People are silly. Hidden gem.

There are recent new hires who got ATL 350B in indoc.

Im not based there but just looking at the bid packets/awarded lines junior line holders are getting 17/18 off which is a far cry from AS. Reserve goes to folks who could be lineholders if that tells you anything about our reserve rules and they’re only going to get better.

As a 2/14 220 award, these are words I like to hear.

For the other one asking, I am a 07xx ssn, it was my 3rd choice behind NYC 765 and 7ER

Really debating between 765, 7ER. Ideally I want ATL as a base. I’ve heard the ER flying there is a bunch of Florida runs but I will be living in Florida so that could offer more overnights at home. But I hear NYC offers the best flying in the system on the ER. Not sure what 765 has out there but I assume all international. I’ve been blessed with a SSN starting with 9 so trying to really figure this one out.

Almost all NYC765 stuff is international commutable trips with junior line holders being a fall hire date. ATL765 is pretty senior so it might not be attainable for some time. So if ATL is your end game then the 7ER is your best bet of the two. I will say, NYC7ER is a great mix of everything, and this summer will see a lot of European flying added back to the category.

if I was going to commute, I’d personally prefer the 765. Almost all commutable trips and international.

It’s not just Florida. It’s a lot of short layovers and 3-4 leg days. It’s mad-dog flying. But if you live in JAX/MCO/TPA/RSW/PNS/MIA then you can snag some overnights at home which is nice. Just be prepared to have very underwhelming trips and arguably some of the worst domestic trips in the airline.

I'll add in that in SEA on the 737 it isn't too unusual for the plug to end up with a line.

Bid the 765. You’ll get stuck even in NY flying mostly domestic for at least a year on the ER. You’ll be able to swap domestic for international sometimes or pick up or the swap board but expect mostly uncommutable domestic trips
