But are those spots needed right meow?

For June, the NYC 320 / 737 / 765 / 330 B positions all have extra X day, so greater than 20% of category list on RES.

Lots of categories have an extra X-day, which is not normal. Including lots of A’s. They have deliberately raised the reserve levels, partially through putting many hundreds of SLI’s back on the line for the summer.

Flight Ops thinks they have the ‘problem’ locked for the summer. We shall see. I’m not as confident as they are.

Flight ops as announced 200 new hires per month for the FORESEEABLE future, a step up from previous predictions of 200 for the rest of the year then decreasing to 100 a month next year.

Unfortunately they can't see past next Tuesday given their predictive track record...
