go 320 or 737 - a lot more green slip opportunities. You’ll be on reserve a lot longer on the 7ER which is only going to credit around 75 hours / month. Can’t pick up over that unless you get a green slip and being so junior you won’t for a while. If you want to make money go narrow body. Airbus is the future of Delta easier to learn it now and stick with it; that’s the 1 big pro of going Airbus… and it’s more comfortable than the 737 too and Neo pays the same as the 7ER

just want to make sure we give all angles of perspective here. I for one am a bid 72 hours, fly 72 hours of all 1 leg days/international, and don’t do any extra.

7ER has the best flying and the most variety, but currently not alot of opprotunity to pickup extra $ except maybe when the summer flying comes back. 73N probably has the most opprotunities to pickup extra flying, and probably the quickest seniority movement, but someone might know more than me on that.
Do you have a preference of a specific airport? 7ER is only out of JFK except for a few charter trips out of EWR. 73N is also almost exclusivley JFK, some LGA trips but not a lot. 320 will get you a better mix of the 3 airports.

This is good advice for people who like working a lot. I think we collectively don’t understand some people here don’t greenslip and don’t want to GS. If you are indifferent on the money aspect, 7ERNYC could be an amazing category where you’ll see most of Europe, you’re still going to have seniority growth behind you, or just sit at home being paid on reserve in the thin months.

Ultimate goal is WB B for a couple years, so I think I'm fine with 73N or A320 if that allows for more $ opportunities, but I really appreciate your POV here. Reserve as a general concept sounds pretty awesome right now.

I will advise to have a separate AirTrain only metro card if you buy in bulk. I had my AirTrain rides over ridden by refilling my metro card for the subway.

Very little 73 flying in LGA. 320 bid pack has been about 50/50 between LGA and JFK although JFK flying has increased as more NEOs are coming online. I prefer LGA for an easier commute and there are plenty of trips to build a full month’s schedule from just LGA trips.

If you want WBB in the future, go 320 because 330 is a two week course.
