ALPA weekly update now has a much higher resolution breakdown of new hire class backgrounds. This could be useful information if they keep doing this going forward.

Huh? That makes no sense. If you have a confirmed ticket on a specific date you can’t cancel 1 to 7 days after that date. You either flew confirmed or you didn’t show up. If you want to change from confirmed to NR you must cancel the confirmed ticket more than 7 days prior to the date of travel. Nothing matters once the scheduled day of travel passes.

Maybe you are thinking there is a 14 day window on when you can nonrev? But that isn’t true either. You are only blocked from NR on the same date of travel and the same city pair. You can travel on the same city pair the day before or after, or on any other city pair on the same day as the original confirmed travel day.

Uh, yea, what Tennis said. Even with forum math, I don't see how +\- 7 days = 14. It's just 7 days prior.

The pass travel guide says NRSA is prohibited if the confirmed reservation isn’t canceled at least 7 prior to departure date. It’s on Deltanet.

Yeah, re reading it that doesn’t make much sense. Not sure what I was thinking.

If we hire continuously throughout the year as we have in Q1, that will result in 1,500.

Delta doesn’t like to run class in the Summer. So we’ll see.
