I guess the question should be, “umm, is anyone suprised by any of this?” Like was the writing not on the wall let’s say, maybe 3 years ago or so? I would’ve thought most have already jumped ship, and the ones who stayed behind don’t have the minimums to go to a major possibly, which really does suck. Or, they’re senior and were willing to take advantage of inflated seniority at the risk of the future, which at this point it is what it is. Other than that, I would think someone told them to dust off the apps years ago.

if we and the company both accept that hiring spirit pilots is the right thing to do, i’d kindly tell management to eat glass if they think they need to take away from us to justify doing it
