Only trip of their's that caught my eye, pre-covid, was a single flight JFK-SDQ, 30 hour layover at the Intercontinental, then one flight back to JFK on day 3...almost 50% credit, nice hotel, and lots of time to sit on beach.

I've done that flight, and it was a turn for the FAs back when. I looked it up and the same for today (a turn) Maybe layover was some one-off but whenever I went to the islands it was always a FA turn. St. Lucia was a high value one, the AVERAGE FA seniority was like 310 (this was out of ATL) on that one.

The switch to a 5:15 hard daily min probably has more to do with that then anything else. I personally love the 5:15 and it dramatically increased credit on 3 day transcons. If I were a domestic narrow body guy a 5:30 average day might result in a better QOL.

we don’t have a min day, we have an average. Or am I not understanding you correctly?

Your correct I wrote that wrong. We had a duty period average minimum and improved it to a daily average minimum.

gotcha. Yeah a duty peroid average sounds bad, glad it is ADG now.

commutability certainly needs to be addressed in the next contract

It was bad, 4 day trips with 3 duty periods often paid 18 hours.

Yes it was. Isn’t this what guaranteed reserve’s get the same pay as regular line holders for a trip or was that something else?

Some one gets a GS tomorrow. You're welcome. I'm going home.

They're running this way too tight.
