Got the CJO 8/24 (beyond helpful for all the tips this forum has given me!)

Was told to expect class date to be 14 weeks out, few questions I forgot to ask due to the excitement at that moment lol

How long does it take for Cisive to reach out for background check? I signed the electronic CJO two days ago.

If background check clears in decent time, would we be able to get earlier class date? (Fill ins, etc…)

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations!

Received my E-CJO 8/1, background check clearance confirmed 8/25.

I suggest checking in with Cisive once per week. When I called them for the second time on 8/24, they confirmed my check was complete and that I needed to contact DAL onboarding. Sent an email to DAL, clearance confirmed, notified to standby for an indoc date.

Cisive - 1 (877) 867-2359

Thanks so much for your response!

My issue is they haven’t sent out the invitation link to even start the process yet [emoji28][emoji28] kind of getting antsy, I know it’s all in my head but it’s the dream job.

When did you submit your application? If you don’t mind me asking.

I had it in for a few years but got it looked over a few months ago. Got a fix it email like 3 weeks ago. Did the assessment yesterday and got the invite for the in person today scheduled for October 5th

CJO to INDOC

I was offered a CJO 08-01-22 was given the cleared to start email on 08-23-2022 and contacted Talent Aquisition and was told to stand-by and that it would be the end of November, depending if they run a class over Thanksgiving. I like many think this cannot happen fast enough!

Did most of you send an email to pilot onboarding to trigger correspondence with the company about onboarding or did everyone receive a cleared to start email prior to doing that. I've heard both situations have happened where the company didn't reach out until they had a class date, but a few folks have said they emailed onboarding and got a reply with all clear or with a class date. Just curious what everyone's experience has been. I got the CJO July 6thand my background check cleared and was sent to the company in late July but I haven't heard anything. Thanks in advance for all of your input on this.

Thank you for the reply! Application was submitted 2.5 weeks ago, so feeling a bit antsy about not hearing anything yet.

Is there a requirement of flight hours in the past 12 months? Been through multiple training events and barely flying on reserve right now..

Someone hired more recently may know better, but my understanding is there is no official "requirement". However, unofficially 100 hours in the last year is considered "current". They like current. If you are currently on reserve, I would think that would be sufficient as your job history would show appropriately. Good Luck.

Pretty sure PB said a while back that the 100 hours is a nice to have but not required. One of the town halls.
