Quick question for those who have interviewed. I'm preparing for my interview and making sure my logbooks are tip top. What does Delta use for verification? My logbook shows a +30 discrepancy between it and my companies log. Also to add our company doesn't log repositioning flights into our time cause it's "not a 121 scheduled flight" which I did plenty of on reserve last year.

You can log the repo flights but they will be part 91 so not counted as 121 time.

I know this has been answered before, but I've just read 50 pages and have not been able to put all the puzzle pieces together yet.
Can someone please give me a quick overview of all the steps in the application (in order) and recommended prep companies along the way?
Thanks a ton!

get invite to take online assessment

To my knowledge they do not verify flight hours in your logbook. They review all your logbooks but they don’t go back to previous employers and ask for their flight records to double check your times.

12/11 app, fixit the following week, and the test yesterday. I unfortunately didn’t pass and got the email this morning to try again in a few months. I used cut-e and the tests are very similar. I think the personality test was probably my crutch. Does RST have any prep work there or is there anything else people are using to prep? I know a few folks who have been successful the second time around and I’d like to help my chances as well. Thanks

You provide them with an EAS date and they assign you a class date after that. Generally it’s pretty quick and works out well. If you’re on terminal you can start during that period. TAD prior to terminal complicates things and you’ll likely have to wait.

Thanks to you and the others who responded. Big help!

3/6 Meet and Greet

I just got 3/6 off for the Delta Pilot Career Expo and I was wondering if anybody knew when it would be possible to get a ticket to go, I know slots will fill up quickly!

TIA

Wonder if they’d honor tickets for those of us who had tix to the October event that was cancelled?

Application Entry Point

Quick question for the group. Is Airlineapps.com the only entryway for applications to DAL? I’m regularly updating my application on that sight, but I’d like to make sure I’m not missing another way. Thanks in advance.

This question might have been asked. Does Delta even look at anyone with less than 1000hours jet time? I know it was a hard requirement, just wondering if anyone here got a call before that , or if you know of anybody that got a call with less than that.

Thank you

That is the only way. Make sure every box and supplemental sections are complete. Also, letter of recommendation guarantees someone will hand review it.
