Almost me exactly. Good to see, thanks for sharing. How long between applying to the next step?

I got on with 2300 TT, 1300 turbine, 0 TPIC, military/SWA pilot. I would just apply and go to every event you can or get letters of recs.

Here’s a question. I can get multiple internal recs now but I’ve already got an interview scheduled. Is it worth updating my airline apps and adding them in or is it pretty much a moot point once you’ve got an interview?

If I was in your shoes, I'd save them. If for some reason (your creator forbid) you don't do well in the interview you can wait the time to reapply and use them to your benefit, assuming DL is you absolute No. 1 choice. I don't believe adding them after you got the interview will do much of anything. From what I've heard you wanna keep the app changes between interview invite and interview to a minimum, mostly just updating hours. Anyone else chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

I concur - I was in same position. My application to Interview was under 4 months. I received two recs from two former squadron mates. I did not upload since I was within a week of my interview. I got the CJO without the recs being submitted. FWIW.

Copy all thank you.

Each applicant can be recommended and get an app pull once per year. Each employee gets unlimited recommendations to give. You can get the app pull multiple times from the same employee.

From a app pull standpoint the recs don't matter of 1 or 100. They could possibly impact getting an interview. Once you get the interview the only thing they do is give something else for the panel to see when they evaluate you.

App changes after invite the biggest thing is big changes but anything that really happens you should include. After 7 days prior to interview limit changes to flight time as they don't get printed immediately before. Panel will review your app with you to make any changes or clarify anything and have you sign it. It is your last chance to add things you neglected in your application.

That's really good intel and clarification. Thank you!

According to the Recruiter at NGPA, it could be up to a month after receiving the “top tier” email to receiving the AON. Interview could be up to a month after receiving the invite to interview. They are opening up April for scheduling interviews soon. And finally, 4-8 weeks for class. Lot of wiggle room there and I’m guessing a lot of worse case scenarios regarding timelines.

FYI, if you’re doing a deep dive looking for tickets, don’t trust the background checks. I’ve paid for background checks and paid the DMV for a traffic violation record and none of them returned anything. Just called the local courthouse and found I had 3 tickets from from 20 years ago that I had no recollection of. If you want accuracy, I’d recommend calling the courthouse in the counties that you suspect you may have tickets.
