Fleet Schedules

Trying to decide which equipment/base I want. I’m blessed to have my last 4 starting with a 9, so from what I’ve heard it means I’ll get pretty much whatever is available.

That being said, I have a young child at home and I’m wondering what is the schedule like for 7ER/767-400/A350?

Depends on base and the month and whatever network decides. On the -400 and 350 expect reserve weekend coverage awards for a long time.

Airline Apps Interview Day

So I was fortunate and my name finally got called to go interview in person! I’m beyond excited but also now I’m trying to anxiously dot all i’s and cross all t’s.

In the email I received it said to update airline apps up until 2 days prior, however it says that there should be no significant changes between the copy they have when the invite was triggered and on interview day.

So what exactly does that mean? I feel like I don’t want to mess things up by changing anything. Should I just only go in and hit the update button or what? It’s kind of stressful because I’ve heard of people getting turned down for documentation errors. Just trying to get some insight.

The minute you were selected for the interview they took a snapshot of your current application. They will compare that with the one they have two days before your interview. Feel free to update flight times and minor stuff. I moved my availability date by adding two weeks during that time period and they questioned why I did that and were very pleased with my answer. I also found out my transcripts were updated at some point well after graduation and I had a higher college GPA. They said that's understandable, but when people put in a much lower one it looks deceitful. Just know they could ask about anything on your app old or new.

Ok yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the response. In my situation, I’m military and I just PCS’d only a couple weeks before I got the invite and I hadn’t updated it on my app before they took that “screenshot”. So now I’m worried if I go in and add a new employment it’s going to raise a flag. Just trying to figure out how best to handle that.

Don’t add major negative things that make it look like you were being deceitful. Don’t add check ride failures, DUIs, a bunch of speeding tickets, saying you were fired from a previous job, etc.

Do, however, add those things if you truly forgot. They’re going to find out in the background check. Just be prepared to be called on it during the interview, and that probably won’t be a pleasant experience.

Thats an easy explanation. Moving is a busy time. Update the address/work section, and calmly explain you moved in the small window. Don’t stress it, especially since it’s not a negative item, or something you were trying to hide.

Having said that, be ready to explain why you don’t have an ADSC with the PCS, unless you are Guard/reserve. A savvy interviewer will be curious how your availability date aligns with a PCS and possible ADSC. Good luck!

Newest class date offers? Last time I’ve seen was a bit ago for a mid July CJO and mid November class date… anything newer than that?
