Hi Maineseaplane, actually the companies use AON (they acquired Cut-E) for the assessment of their candidates.
You'll see there are multiple websites for practice tests, but be aware that not all of them offer the tests as they are on the official assessment. I used and can recommend the Delta package from pilotassessments.com as their practice tests are very similar to what you can expect. Have a good one! thanks for the help ! |
Pre-Clearance Email
Hi guys,
Delta interview coming up. Is the pre-clearance email you guys are getting before class dates just a background check or have they looked at PRIA by then as well? Thanks! |
So many replays for that thread, just to get it right - the interview now is only HR questions and Scenarios? No questions like "calculate descent to be at DME xyz in 50 miles" etc.?

Another timeline for reference:
- Top Tier last January. - 24 days after Top Tier - AON Invite referencing a job fair that I attended (I received this email after talking to Delta at another job fair.) - Failed AON. - 80 days after AON Failure - Went to another job fair. - 93 days after AON Failure - Received another AON invite referencing the job fair that I attended. - 100 days after failing AON 1, and 7 days after taking AON 2 - Passed AON email / Interview Invite. Fyi, both sets of emails were identical up to the point where I failed/passed: Top Tier, AON is coming, AON link. My original interview was scheduled 61 days after getting the interview invite. I was able to get an interview date a lot earlier, and now I have a CJO. There were many times when I wondered if it was worth it to outlay all of the time/effort/money required to attend events and meet with Delta, especially this last one where I wasn't yet eligible to retake the AON. It was definitely worth it, as my 2nd AON invite at day 93 referenced the job fair that I attended at day 80. Excuse my ignorance but what is the “AON”? When I was interviewed (and hired) in 1985, we only had talk to 2 Chief Pilots, meet with a shrink and sit in a rocking chair, as well as take the MMPI, then a physical exam followed by flying the 727 sim. As long as you weren’t an A hole, you were hired! I guess they’re doing most of it on line now? |

If they pass, then they get invited to ATL. ATL in person consists of interview (HR and pilot) as well as MMPI and Psychologist. |

How did you get the earlier interview? Mine is nearly two months out but I’d love to go sooner.

Meme In Command nailed it. |
Anybody know if it’s possible to be put on a waitlist for an earlier class after receiving the indoc/class date confirmation email?
