AON / Cut E
I know this has been talked about in this forum on different occasions, But I wanted to see if Anyone had a link for Prep they used before taking the AON.
I know AON / Cut E is preferred, but multiple sites with different packages are available. Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance airlineassessmentprep.com has it for a small monthly fee 8 Sections Spatial orientation (ndb/rmi in relation to aircraft-its timed for 3 mins) Reaction speed (click when two shapes match each other) Deductive logical thinking (sudoku style—which shape should be in which position on the grid) Monitoring ability(how many dots are moving around in a circle) Multi-tasking capability (3 tasks at once—-adding/subtracting, determining if shapes are duplicated in a row of other shapes, and a slider like the game asteroids where you avoid objects to prevent a crash) Auditory comprehension (audio clips of clearance read backs or approach clearances and you have to choose the correct answer from 3 multiple choice options) Complex control (use your mouse to guide your plane through a series of rotating circles) Work-related behavior(standard personality test) |
AON Round Two
Hey all. So, failed the first AON attempt a couple weeks ago. Definitely disappointing, but I have every intention of trying again if Delta is kind enough to send me another invite after the 3 month period.
For those who have been through this process, did you need to remove your app from airline apps addendums and reapply from scratch? Or is it acceptable to leave your existing application active in airline apps, keep updating it and just don’t expect to hear anything for at least 3 months? Appreciate any info on this area. Thanks, |

Thanks, I did add a sentence to the addendum where it asks if you've ever interviewed or tested for DAL or NWA. Something like "1 attempt at the AON cognitive test in month/year." |

Excuse my ignorance but what is the “AON”?
When I was interviewed (and hired) in 1985, we only had talk to 2 Chief Pilots, meet with a shrink and sit in a rocking chair, as well as take the MMPI, then a physical exam followed by flying the 727 sim. As long as you weren’t an A hole, you were hired! I guess they’re doing most of it on line now? Like DWC CAP10 USAF said, the AON is a video monitored online cognitive/personality assessment that must be passed prior to getting an interview. The interview is a long-ish day, but Delta does a great job with the process, the facilities are great for the interviewees, and the entire pilot selection team was awesome. The only thing that would've made it better is that 727 sim! :) |

Thanks, Question about your experience taking the AON, are you actually recorded taking the test? I know it says it that you need to have the webcam and microphone on, and that was the first I have heard of it |

If your webcam has a light that shows when recording is taking place, it will be on as you are completing each section of tests (and off between sections.) |
AON
Has anyone who actually took the AON and passed felt comfortable after taking it?? I have used some test prep software which was requested here, but still not entirely confident about it...
Just wanted to see everyones else's temperature on it. |

Just wanted to see everyones else's temperature on it. Yeah, felt it was very easy. My only unsure was the dots/balls. Hard to judge when there's a cluster and the choices are within 1. Took the test at night, had the interview invite the next day. This was back in May. |
Anyone going down to ATL on the 9th? interviewing on the 10th? shoot me a message if you'd like to meet up. Try to get a group together ahead of time.
