Nope, there is a skipped week for Labor Day (and Christmas), otherwise weekly. I asked a friend of mine in indoc right now to find out, as I will start later this fall.

I have an interview scheduled and have some questions:
1. Can anyone speak to the training timeline? My understanding is that indoc is two weeks, but what training follows and how long after indoc ends does the next part of training typically occur (is there a break)? How long does it last?
2. My wife is pregnant and due six weeks after my interview. What is the process for delaying class dates like (if that’s an option)? And how far out is one allowed to delay?
Obviously no guarantee I’ll be hired but trying to gather more information for the future possibility. Thanks.

As far as training timeline, I believe it’ll depend on availability date for Indoc and then your fleet-specific IQ will happen at some point thereafter. I got the 717 and had almost no wait between Indoc and IQ; some of the folks in my class that got the 737 had 6-8 weeks between Indoc and sims.
Good luck on the interview!

If you get the CJO, almost immediately they’ll ask if you have any major life events upcoming. I would say a newborn qualifies. YMMV, but that was true when I was hired spring of last year.

Also, went in seniority order within the class. So the more senior your are (last 4 of SSN - 9999 is most senior) started the quickest.

You used to be guaranteed one full week off between indoc and sims, ostensibly to study and do the CBT systems work. Is that no longer true?

The order in which we went to training seemed to be dependent on fleet. Most everyone seemed to have at least a month or two, with the exception of those of us assigned the 717...

App submitted 28 May 2023 and I have yet to hear anything--no fix it e-mail or top tier e-mail. I did the virtual recruiter one-on-one, and the first thing out of his mouth was, "So, I see you received the top tier e-mail already." I check my e-mail (spam and regular) about 37 times a days, and I definitely didn't get the top tier yet, so when I told him that he was surprised and said I should be hearing something soon then.
What timeline have you all experienced as of late (specifically military guys) between submitting the app and receiving the top tier e-mail?
