Mil guy
3000 TT
1600 Turbine PIC mostly SEL
1200 MEL SIC
ATP Complete
SEFE
Director of Safety
7x internal including Delta ATP-CTP

My group had CBP, a couple mil, and about 9 civilians. We were 11/14 with the 3 getting TBNT all regional guys with varying background.

One context suggestion when listing stats: as some folks have done, include your background. Mil/Civ/both. Military should delineate between fighter vs. heavy as well. 2500 hours for a Mil fighter guy is pretty decent/competitive, while for a heavy guy it’s low. Also, 121 background should indicate if pure Civ, or both Mil and Civ.

It probably goes without saying for most, but for the newest lurkers, Military is generally going to be more competitive with lower hours than pure civ. Right or wrong, it is what it is, I think mostly because they have a pretty known/standard product coming from Mil. Don’t shoot the messenger; some of the better pilots I’ve flown with have no Mil background.

One internal is all that is needed to get the app pulled and scored…if it scores high enough, you get put in the “interview pile”…it is your place in that pile and how many above you that get called first that is the unknown

And if it gets pulled but doesn’t score high enough, it gets placed in a 12 month cooling off pile (unbeknownst to you).

If you add another silver bullet during that 12 months, it doesn’t trigger an app review.

This is no longer true, according to the recruiting team. Your app gets scored by a human with an internal, which generally leads to a higher overall score. All current, published apps sit in the scored pile, and they just pull the highest score off the top.

If something improves on your app that can’t be translated to a score by the normal algorithm, it won’t get a human review for 12 mos. if you add hours, ratings, etc the computer will improve your score, and subsequently your place in the pile.

Mil/civ
10k
No internals

Test email Monday am, took test 30 minutes later. Does anyone fail this because I really didn’t feel like I performed all that well due to a lack of prep.

Interview email today (Thursday), scheduled interview for first available which is 20 October.

Anyone know the timeline from interview to actually being in class?

Hey everyone, how long is it taking between getting a CJO and a class date? Are successful candidates getting November classes currently? or are we into December yet?
