Umm… I understand the sentiment here about the FAs… but I’d be careful with that.

Yeah. I had FA rooms denied.

Never again. They can talk to their union about it. Oh wait....

Anyone else fill out the travel form on Monday and not heard anything back yet on a date? The other 2 I know both received their date options the same day as the travel form so I’m a little sketched out. I’m sure I just need to be patient but would feel better if others are experiencing the same thing

I’m in the same boat. Haven’t heard anything despite filling out the travel form Monday. We’re in good spots, just sit and wait. Better being in this spot than still updating the application, waiting, praying and hoping. Now we’re just waiting.

Hey everyone,

I have an interview scheduled for mid-April. Very excited and also very nervous. I do have a few silly questions though for those who have been through the process recently.

1. What is the hotel of choice there north of HQ for interviewees to stay at?

2. The packet they sent said to bring/upload all pilot certs. Do they want the basic drone certificate included in that?

3. They say bring original logbooks. Are they looking for paper-and-ink books with original signatures or a nice, clean digital log book print out?

4. They also say bring transcripts from college. Do they want them sealed in an envelope from the university or out and ready?

Just trying to cover my bases y'all.

Thanks

1. Hilton is best. I say this because if you are relying on a shuttle or Uber you may end up late like two of the guys in my interview group. One called and emailed everyone he could because the shuttle broke down enroute. He was five minutes late and got a CJO. Another guy snuck in behind him and thought he merged in with the rest of us...they see that. He didn't make it. Nice AF guy, too.

4. Your interview paperwork should say it, but they want official sealed transcripts.

One of my captains did interviews for a few years. He said 75% of applicants do some combination of red white and blue. I went black suit, white shirt, blue tie.
Also, follow the directions in what to bring to the letter. They are checking to see if you can follow directions.
Smile, laugh, make appropriate self-deprecating jokes, RELAX, and if they offer you to remove your jacket during the sit down, it's not a test. They want to hire you. The job is yours and only your personality or answers can ruin that. Good luck!

Embassy Suites is way better than the Hilton. Nicer hotel, closer, better food, 2 free drinks per night.

Not exactly, depending on your use of the word "sealed". They want transcripts bearing an official seal. There was nothing indicated anywhere that they had to be delivered in a sealed envelope.

Does the Embassy Suites have a shuttle that'll take you to the interview?

The seal on the envelope says it’s no longer considered an official, sealed transcript if the envelope is opened. I suppose you can argue technicalities or you can err on the side of caution and provide a sealed transcript. It’s your job to lose.

Came here exactly to say this.

I brought sealed transcripts and I got the job.

Just bring one unopened and one opened if you're worried about what they want. Why is this such a problem?
