Any of the recent CJOs from this year or late last year have any info on how far out class dates are?

3 months. They added an April class. For those people 2.5 months

I'd wear the uniform to get through security, then just put on a pullover.

This is what I did

I absolutely get what you are saying, and you aren't wrong.

To the OP, the point is don't skimp on a multi-million dollar career opportunity by wearing your dad's suit, or one that clearly doesn't fit, or is wrinkled, or...

No it doesn't have to be a blue suit, but also realize the vast, vast majority of applicants will be wearing a blue suit, with a white shirt, and maybe a little color other than a red tie. There absolutely have been people hired wearing grey suits, and even tan. But that is a super bold choice.

To be honest, if you need advice to realize you shouldn't show up for a Delta interview wearing a ill-fitting, dirty, wrinkly suit, you probably don't deserve to get any advice.

The point I'm making is that there are people here and at interview companies who will try to tell you that you should waste an incredible amount of money buying an expensive, blue suit and a red tie specifically to wear just for this interview. They've "cracked the code." This is completely unnecessary and doesn't increase your chances of getting hired. Look professional in business attire. That's literally all you need

The suit color is waaaaaay overblown. The DL recruiting FB page has debunked this many times. Any well-tailored, conservative colored suit will do. Yes, avoid the white or red pimp suits. But don’t go buy a new blue suit if you have a perfectly good grey one in your closet.

But also maybe don't look like you're going to a funeral...

I wore a nearly black suit and no one said anything.

But did you wear the black veil over your face?

Looking through every professional attire guide online, I don't see anywhere that "veil" is mentioned

I'll make a note to turn down the sarcasm for you next time.

I dressed like Elwood Blues and they gave me the CJO as soon as I walked in the door.

Actually I wore a charcoal suit, I don't remember what tie. It doesn't matter as long as it's a conservative color.
