Any of the recent CJOs from this year or late last year have any info on how far out class dates are?

Acehole 03-16-2026 09:52 PM

I guess I should have mentioned that there’s no KCM at my airport.

I have an interview coming up in a few weeks. With the insane lines at TSA, would it be a bad look to fly up in my current uniform? It’s a positive space ticket on Delta from my home airport.

As long as your current uniform doesn't have tear away pants or shirt, I think you'll be ok.

No, no it’s not ok… go through KCM in Uniform obviously, but arrive the day before your interview, get a full nights sleep AND wear a brand new Suit…it’s a multi million Dollar job….dress like it. You can be a cheap pilot later once you’re on property.

I'd wear the uniform to get through security, then just put on a pullover.

I think you’re misunderstanding his posts.

I believe he’s asking, since TSA is such a mess, and his home airport doesn’t have KCM, if it would be fine to wear his current uniform on the positive space ticket to Atlanta.

I agree with GutterGuard. Go through security in uniform and change your upper half once you’re on the other side.

You don't need a brand new suit.

I absolutely get what you are saying, and you aren't wrong.

To the OP, the point is don't skimp on a multi-million dollar career opportunity by wearing your dad's suit, or one that clearly doesn't fit, or is wrinkled, or...

No it doesn't have to be a blue suit, but also realize the vast, vast majority of applicants will be wearing a blue suit, with a white shirt, and maybe a little color other than a red tie. There absolutely have been people hired wearing grey suits, and even tan. But that is a super bold choice.
