They will. A few weeks ago, I got the "Fix it" email because I did not enter my Part 61 flight school history (AirlineApps is poorly-worded with this, and says to list professional flight schools, so I interpreted this as Part 141).
I corrected it that day and received an interview invite the next week. 🙂

JL said in the latest town hall that we need 1800 or so new pilots before summer 2023. Said their goal was “to hire 200 pilots a month” and are running four new hire classes a month

Summer of 2022, not 2023

That ain't happen'n. 1800 in 9 months? 200 a month plus a 400 Captain AE would make the training Dept. melt. And OE buyouts would make FOs paid better than CAs.

fully agree that ain’t happening, but that is what he said.

Remember we were supposed to get 150 new hires in September and we got 71. (Barely keeping up with planned attrition of 52) What is being said is not matching what is being done.

That is called lying. We are being lied to.

oh I believe he was serious when he said we need 1800 new pilots by summer 2022, but that is a different statement than we are planning to actually hire 1800 pilots between now and then.

It’s nice hearing this versus we’re overstaffed by 2558 pilots and the sky is falling. That was our reality this time last year.
