That’s part of the reason I chose to only use my first initial with my last name on the tag. At least make them work to figure out who I am. That is until the CA says both our full names on every welcome aboard PA… 🤦♂️

I once ate breakfast at the Ritz Carlton in Jakarta as part of a Navy flight crew, the very next morning as we were on our way to Malaysia, a terrorist walked into that breakfast buffet in the Ritz and exploded a briefcase killing over a dozen people and wounding many others. Missed us by less than 24 hours!

Serious question, would any FOs be put off by the Captain saying their name on the PA? I always thought it was a nice touch when the Captain said both our names.
