I got rerouted last week in domicile before my last turn. The reroute took me into my day off. 1 leg out, then deadhead back on day off. Rotation said, "operational necessity" as reason. They did pay rr pay.

Per the PWA, accepting a reroute into tag-on flying as a regular pilot (Section 23 L. 2. b.) is an exception to the "Fly Now Grieve Later" policy

that does not sound like tag on flying to me. Just a reroute. (Replacing his last turn with an overnight)

hopefully when we are fixing RR language we can require RRs (that are not due to something going wrong on your last leg) fit entirely within the footprint of your original trip.

This is correct. That was not tag on flying.

It’s amazing to me how many APC/FB experts continuously confuse and think that the MB in MBCBP stands for “Min Balance”.

^^^This^^^. Which is also why I have concerns over the way the question on said topic was worded on the recent contract survey.

It’s completely different. Am I unable to exercise the privileges of my Class 1 medical for 48 hours after seeing my AME, per the FAA?

And no, I'm not getting a room "to be fresh." I'll get a room if the trip is not commutable but that's what I'm arguing about. If you make a 6 hour hard day rig, commutability will like drop precipitously. That isn't a compromise between commuters and locals. A good compromise is every single benefit you have had living in base (free parking, short notice GS/WS, no hotels used). There have been no other contractual benefits to commuters except for the archaic commuter policy and JS.

Saying PS to work doesn't help locals so why should we have it is exactly like arguing to get rid of the JS for the same reason.
I like 2 leg day trips. They don’t exist. I like 2 day trips with one leg each day. They also don’t exist. I wish they did but they were gummed up a long time ago. I’m sure you’re going to commute either way and your agreement is over convenience, which will cost everyone money.

So it's a money grab for you at the expense of everyone else's QOL. For the record, I have seen quite a few of those trips mentioned in the bid packet. The difference is, by imposing an artificially high MDG, you are pushing the company to optimize out trips that are good for half this airline. Commutability would like tank with a 6 hour MDG. And you're saying you're okay with that because you can't get a 9 hour turn anymore.
