GS Calls in 24 hours
#53
More storms in the SE today. Masters this weekend. Fertile ground for those looking for some extra cash. Be picky my friends. 4 days will become 2 leg 2 days and turns. As for me I want to score another conflict. More $$/less work is my speed.

IDK if there's anything to realize. Just like the old Frog and Scorpion parable it has nothing to do with intent or regret; its just in its nature.

Woke up after my DND time to see several trips in open time that were hours past their report time and wondering why I haven't been called. I'm not complaining, I'll happily go get breakfast with the family and then tackle a home improvement project. Just found it curious. Maybe we're witnessing a paradigm shift.
I saw quite a few yesterday. I even put in for a few. I waited around for a GS call and got none. Watched the flights be delayed and then who knows.

I don’t care how good that 2-day greenslip looked in ARCOS. Stop coming to work sick. It’s a d-bag move to come in and sit next your coworker for eight hours sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose and struggling to breathe through your nose. That’s not “allergies”, bud.
Do better for yourself and your coworkers.

I'm not sure guys like BS ever felt any of this was a great idea. I believe this entire debacle was generated by one man. Why? We can speculate all day, some of us have a good idea as to why.

Sleeps important, umkay. Just not for pilots. But definitely for decision makers. Important decision makers, like business decision makers, not those making trivial decisions to avoid mashing a couple hundred people into a smoking hole.
